It’s New Year’s Eve today. We invited MeeMaw and great-grandma to our home for the celebration. Given the circumstances, we decided to stay in instead of eating out. Mom prepared some traditional dishes, and Dad brought out a large bottle of sake. Surprisingly, he even let MeeMaw have a drink. I can’t predict what the next ten years will bring, but I know I’ll always remember this moment—MeeMaw happily celebrating with us.
