I must confess that I had to look up "phonology". It's not a word I hear much. I would have used a less technical phrase like "cadence and flow". I have personal dislike for the word "artwork". I think of it as a technical term used by people who work in the publishing industry. For works in a museum, I prefer "works of art" or simply "art". I wonder if your writing might feel a bit more natural if you mixed things up a bit regarding the linking? Using linking phrases at the starts of sentences is fine, but it can become a bit repetitive if it's done all the time! I LOVE classical music.
