There isn't any single genre I like, I would say the music a person likes is related to his experience, I like pop music when I met my girlfriend, I like the music what she likes, music not all about rhythm or lyrics, it has a connection to you life, I believe most of the people had experience of this before: have you watched a movie that you like, I bet you won't forget the theme song.

I don't go for a particular genre of music.For me, the music is linked to my experience. I liked pop music when I met my girlfriend. I liked the music she liked.
Music is not just the rhythm or the lyrics. It has a connection to my life. I believe that many people have experienced this before. If you have a favorite movie, I bet you won't forget the theme song in this movie.
Although you said that music was supposed to be related to life experiences, you did not give many real examples on this.
