It’s sunny today. I think I’ve got a cold. My runny nose is unstoppable, and stuffy too. But there’s always a silver lining. Every time I am under the weather, my dad will treat me better. Today’s dinner is a donut combo. I can even lay back down watching the television staying near my little radiator all night. The best thing is no homework, it’s just canceled. It’s a rare chance once in a blue moon to goof off.

Today’s dinner is a donut combo. I can even lie back, watching the television and staying near my little radiator all night. The best thing is there’s no homework, it’s just canceled. It’s a once in a blue moon chance to goof off.

Once in a blue moon and rare mean the same thing. You can use one or the other. The difference between lie and lay is tricky. Everyone gets it wrong! Very good, enjoy having a cold!
