プロの講師Adjectives in Italian: before or after a noun, that’s the question 🕵️
In Italian you can find adjectives before or after a noun. But is it always the same thing?
The answer is no🙂↔️
Here an example:
1)Giovanna è una grande attrice
2)Giovanna è un’ attrice grande
1) In this case what I understand is that Giovanna is an amazing actress: she’s very successful and has probably won some prices
2) Now, what I understand is that… she is literally “grande”, big! With the second sentence you are telling me that Giovanna is a very tall actress
You see? That’s a pretty big difference in meaning 🙌
