Is it correct to use "finished" in this sentence? Or should I use "ended"?
"I went to bed immediately after our chat finished."
"I went to bed immediately after out chat ended."

More natural to say ‘I went to bed immediately after we finished chatting.’

They're both fine. Finished probably sounds better.

Both fine. Also, you can omit them and nothing changes:
"I went to bed immediately after our chat".

Finished and ended mean the same thing here. You can pick what sounds better to you.
