私はオランダで生まれたが、ベルギーとアメリカでも育った。18歳のとき、武術を学ぶために中国に渡り、11年後には中国剣術の達人となった。冒険が大好きで、バイクで中国南部の人里離れた地域を80000km以上旅し、ジャングルや洞窟をトレッキングしながら写真で旅を記録した。趣味は映画鑑賞で、特にSF、アクション、ホラーなどのジャンルが好きです。アメリカの大学で科学を専攻していたこともあり、科学的な話題についてじっくり議論するのが好きだ。スペインでの新しい生活を楽しむために、現在スペイン語を勉強しています！元の言語で表示する

私はもう10年以上教えています。中国に住んでいた11年間のうち10年間は語学講師をしていましたし（1年間はアドベンチャー・ツアーのリーダーでした！）、3年以上前からオンラインでも教えています。私の生徒は幼稚園児から社会人まで幅広い。桂林、重慶、佳木斯に住み、働き、中国の人々と文化を深く理解しました。中国を離れた後、私は1年間法執行機関で働き、環境科学の学位を取得するために学校に戻りました！ レッスン形式・教え方

Maarten has been helping me improve my Dutch from an absolute beginner level to being able to hold a conversation in Dutch. Due to his adventurous life, he has lots of stories to tell, which can be quite entertaining. He is always punctual and prepared and we never run out of things to talk about.
Surely one of the best teachers on Italki!
