Bergur is a fantastic tutor. He is passionate about learning languages and very knowledgable about the Faroe Islands and the Faroese language and its history. He is friendly, enthusiastic, patient and very good at explaining grammatical structures and rules. Most importantly, his lessons are fun! Highly recommended 👍

How often is it the case that your teacher can reference a saga that has anything even slightly to do with one's jobs. (In this case, seals, or rather kópakonan, a saga about a seal woman). As a fan of legends and sagas I was very happy for this turn of events. Bergur is so flexible in his teaching that I'm positive he can turn absolutely anything into a learning opportunity!

It has been such a great, informative past (2) months learning Faroese with you, Bergur. I feel confident in what I am saying and trying to convey. Still plenty of more advanced discussions and grammar to be had, but such a great foundation. I will be practicing as much as possible while í Havn og vit síggjast skjótt!
