Jissel Guarin

Jissel is professional, helpful, punctual, and an excellent teacer. I originally chose her because she is a psychologist and I need to learn to speak about psychology topics in Spanish. That said, Jissel exceeded my expectations with how well she explains concepts and writes corrections. Her psychology background creates a compassionate foundation which she utilizes to alter her teaching style dependent on what each student needs.. She is one of the best Spanish teachers I have experienced through Italki. She is a true gem!

This lovely teacher got up at 3:00 a.m. to give me a great lesson. She was cheerful and very nice in spite of the early hour for her.
