Craig is an excellent listener and always gives good guidance when you're sharing your own stories. I am now taking lessons with him once a week and feel I'm more comfortable and brave enough to share my thoughts. I appreciate this kind of interaction and teaching style.

Absolutely recommended. He showed up on time, dressed decently, had a warm-hearted attitude, and was always smiling and encouraging. He gave me relevant examples based on our discussion to deepen my understanding. He was really good at continuing topics, and you would never get bored. He was pretty inquisitive, and I think it’s good for students who really need more chances to speak out especially for the ones who doesn’t know how to carry on a conversation.

It's been a while since my last lesson and I haven't had many chances to practice English recently. But Craig's enthusiasm and professionalism once again wiped away my anxiety. We started with a rather difficult academic topic, and I stumbled a bit, while Craig stayed patient, kept the conversation going, and guided it deeper. Then we talked about some cultural differences that I'm always curious about. The way Craig controls the pace of his lessons really helps me a lot.

Craig has always provided me with very helpful English conversation practice, but what he offers is far beyond that. The real value of his lessons is that they help me develop my ability to think critically in English.
I've always found it much easier to describe concrete things or daily activities than to discuss abstract ideas, because the former usually doesn't require deeper thinking and the language involved feels more familiar to me. However, Craig is very good at guiding the conversation and asking thoughtful questions that inspire me to think more deeply and from different perspectives.
For example, when we talk about certain events or phenomena (in this lesson, people's fascination with the West Coast), instead of simply describing them, he encourages me to explore the reasons behind them. Through this kind of discussion, I'm gradually learning how to think, form my own opinions, and express them more clearly in English.

Craig is a really good teacher who can guide you through a variety of topics and make you feel comfortable sharing your experiences. I look forward to learning English this way.

Today's lesson was awesome cause we inverted our roles. So I asked questions about Craig's life. A brand new experience to me to lead the conversation with choosing questions carefully. Not too far from the topic but broadening it to keep the interviewee involved quite enough. It's one more level to practice English as it's pretty compex to interview in foreign language. But we did it, thanks to Craig and his unique approaches.
