Saori is an absolutely perfect sensei for accommodating to my needs. I have a Snowboarding trip to Japan planned this winter and I am only focused on learning functional conversation to be able to speak to my guides both casually and about snow and safety conditions. Saori being a Hokkaido Based boarder tailored everything so perfectly! Looking forward to the next lesson!

Lessons with Saori-san are always fun and engaging. She understands how to speak with beginners; conversations feel natural and enjoyable. Her textbook lessons include plenty of original materials, making them feel modern and appealing.

We are a family of four from Arizona who visited Hokkaido because of our love for Japanese culture. Before our trip, we had a family Japanese lesson with Saori-san online, and then we were fortunate enough to meet with her in person during our time in Japan. Saori-san is a wonderful teacher! She made learning Japanese fun and approachable for our whole family, including our teenage sons (which is not always an easy task!). She taught us practical phrases that we could actually use while traveling, and her engaging teaching style helped everyone feel comfortable practicing. The Japanese we learned was incredibly useful during our trip. After the lesson, we actually used Japanese at cafés and shops, and it gave us much more confidence. Being able to communicate with local people, even in small ways, made our experience in Japan feel more meaningful and memorable. Learning together as a family made the experience even more special. It became something we could share and enjoy together
