Phlebotomy Learnership SupervisorI worked as a Phlebotomy Learnership Supervisor for Lancet Laboratories, a private medical laboratory in South Africa. The company ran a National SA government endorsed learnership training program. We trained to school leavers to be able to collect blood and other medical samples. It was a formal qualification which allowed successful candidates to register with the South African Health Professions Council (HPCSA). I taught the students anatomy, medical terminology, ethics, collection etc.
