I really appreciate Misa-san’s relaxed approach and encouraging teaching style, it makes it easier to feel confident speaking even when I’m not fluent.

Misa is the friendliest, most patient teacher here on iTalki. I can't stress enough how easy it is to forget your nervousness and doubts and just get swept up in the flow of conversation. I get the feeling that it is Mia's wonderful personality and positive, radiant energy that makes it possible. She is extremely helpful when answering questions, clarifying grammar and teaching new words or expressions - and her solid grasp of English is a nice safety line! Highly recommend.

Misa is a great teacher, she is patient and friendly. She teaches me new words at every lesson and corrects my mistakes. I can feel my Japanese has improved and I am more motivated.

Misa-sensei does a great job at introducing new vocabulary naturally throught the conversation. If I say something that's not really well said, she'll repeat the correct way of saying it after, a bit like when you repeat a sentence to be sure you heard correctly. So it gives me the possibility of instantly using the correct sentence in context and if there is new words I don't understand, I can ask and she'll explain in japanese what it means !

I did a trial lesson with Misa-sensei and had a really fun time ! Even tho I was nervous at first, she helped me feel mre at ease and the 30min flew by really quickly !
