Discovering 태원샘 has been one of the most rewarding parts of learning Korean and I’m profoundly grateful for his guidance. When I started the year, I had a decent grasp of vocabulary—but now, I can hold basic conversations with confidence. My ability to conjugate across tenses and switch between casual and polite speech has improved dramatically. 태원샘’s teaching style is exceptional. He knows exactly when to push me and when to let me explore on my own. Whenever I hit a roadblock, his calm and thorough explanations help me break through. He never gives up until I truly understand the concept. Beyond grammar and vocabulary, 태원샘 enriches each lesson with cultural insights and lifestyle tips that deepen my appreciation for Korea. This was my 1st class of etymological Korean. It was very interesting and insightful. I learned a great deal in a short time and I look forward to our next session.

Wonderful teacher! He is very prepared, engaging, and professional with lots of energy and patience. He is also multilingual and speaks French fluently with an excellent accent. English is my native language but I speak intermediate French. He is able to explain principles of enunciation that relate to both, which is an unexpected advantage for my language learning. Trying to speak a new language is always hard and makes you nervous and self-conscious but he puts you at ease.

I've been studying Korean alone off-and-on for many years and wanted to get more active practice with communication. 태원샘 uses a great mix of positive and constructive feedback so I never feel like I'm falling behind.
