Sokneang

Sokneang is a very good teacher who explains Khmer well and is supportive and helpful. She pitches the class to my ability and she replied to messages to help me practice outside of the classroom. If you want to learn Khmer, I would recommend Sokneang :)

Great lesson with Sokneang! We learned six more consonants from the "er" group, and practiced drawing them on the whiteboard. We also learned about months of the year. Sokneang prepared a multiple-choice game that was a fun activity. After that, we learned different vocabulary related to food. Sokneang sent me flashcards to preview before the lesson, which was very helpful. Sokneang's lessons are fun and effective, I really enjoy them!

She answered my questions about specific things I wanted to learn and also had a lesson available for the rest of the time. She did a good job with helping me read and pronounce and practice.

I recently started learning Khmer with Sokneang. Her teaching is very good and I learned a lot already in only a few lessons. She gives me a preview of the lesson in Quizlet, and we review when the lesson starts. She includes audio on the flashcards, which is very helpful. I enjoy her class and look forward to continue learning with Sokneang!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We started by reviewing the consonants in the "or" group, then we learned the first few consonants from the "er" group. We also read through a short story that Sokneang prepared. Sokneang asked me questions about the story to see if I understood. It helped a lot that Sokneang provided flashcards so that I could preview the consonants and vocabulary. Her lessons are fun and very effective!

Great lesson with Sokneang! We had some small talk using the new vocabulary from "days of the week". Sokneang asked me questions and I asked her questions. We also learned about Khmer consonants, and Sokneang gave me a dictation quiz. Sokneang is very organized and has a plan for each lesson. She gives me plenty of encouragement and positive feedback!
