Maggie is the only English teacher I have ever stayed with for more than one lesson. I tend to lose enthusiasm or feel uneasy with English, but with Maggie that hesitation simply disappeared. From minute one, she makes you feel comfortable in a way that feels effortless. I felt naturally pulled into the conversation, without overthinking. You cannot imagine how surprising and welcoming it is when, in your very first lesson, the teacher naturally shows you something connected to your own culture. Oh, and forget the “monolingual American” stereotype. She speaks French and Spanish, is world minded, and that openness shows immediately. Also, when it comes to stereotypes, her ability to make you feel at ease is quite literally disarming, pun and compliment fully intended. Sharp, insightful, subtly funny, and consistently excellent, lessons turn into real conversations rather than rigid classes. Highly recommended!

Soy un hispanohablante, la clase fue muy buena y recomendable, se puede apreciar cuando una persona ama lo que hace y enseña de manera extraordinaria, aun así que estudié en institutos de idiomas por primera vez entendí la manera correcta de aprender es como realmente te enseñan. Maggie is a great teacher! Her classes are fun and engaging, and she always takes the time to explain any questions or doubts you may have. She corrects you in a very friendly and encouraging way, which makes you feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes. In every class, you learn new vocabulary, idioms, and natural expressions that you can actually use in real conversations. I really enjoy her classes and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking to improve their English.
