Maggie is an incredible teacher. She's always there to help and correct when needed, and she gives you options for correcting both grammar and pronunciation, including how native speakers actually talk. She's very patient, kind, and fun. 100% recommended, and she likes mate!

Maggie is the only English teacher I have ever stayed with for more than one lesson. I tend to lose enthusiasm or feel uneasy with English, but with Maggie that hesitation simply disappeared. From minute one, she makes you feel comfortable in a way that feels effortless. I felt naturally pulled into the conversation, without overthinking. You cannot imagine how surprising and welcoming it is when, in your very first lesson, the teacher naturally shows you something connected to your own culture. Oh, and forget the “monolingual American” stereotype. She speaks French and Spanish, is world minded, and that openness shows immediately. Also, when it comes to stereotypes, her ability to make you feel at ease is quite literally disarming, pun and compliment fully intended. Sharp, insightful, subtly funny, and consistently excellent, lessons turn into real conversations rather than rigid classes. Highly recommended!
