Hello! My name is Sam, an experienced English teacher from Ottawa, Canada, currently residing in Hanoi, Vietnam. I’ve spent the past few years teaching English throughout Asia, I've been teaching English for more than 3 years in Vietnam. I’m excited to return to online teaching, where I aim to create engaging and interactive lessons tailored to each student’s needs.
I enjoy playing hockey and exploring diverse cuisines, and I love connecting with people from various backgrounds. I would love to help you improve your English! I create a fun, positive, and supportive environment where you can express yourself and make mistakes comfortably. Whether you need English for a job interview, a meeting, or any other situation, I can help you enrich your vocabulary and practice conversations.
I know how hard it is to learn a new language, and I want to use my experience to help you enhance your conversational skills. As a fun fact, I’ve learned some Vietnamese and other languages during my travels, so I understand the challenges and joys of language learning. I tailor my lessons to suit each student's needs and English level. We can start with 15 minutes of grammar, then move on to new vocabulary, listening, and pronunciation practice.
For children, I use colorful pictures, games, and songs to create a fun and engaging learning experience. I'm passionate about teaching kids and making lessons enjoyable.
I have a TEFL certificate and a bachelor's degree, and I've been teaching English in Asia for 7 years, working with both kids and adults of various proficiency levels. Hope to see you in my class soon! Take care.教材
