Apart from being supportive, engaging, and a good conversationalist, Milena is just a lovely person. I am grateful to have been able to work with her as I try to improve my Portuguese.

I like our classes a lot! We choose some conversation topics that are very abstract to me and are about things that I usually don’t even discuss in my native language . For me, that’s awesome because it really forces me to find very different vocabulary than what I’m used to using while having conversation in Portuguese! Milena is super calm and patient while I’m trying to work through my thoughts and find the vocabulary that I need to express myself! Looking forward to class again tomorrow!

Another great class with Milena! I love taking classes where I learn new things that go beyond the Portuguese language. My principal focus in conversation is to practice language of course but it is always nice to feel like I'm getting much more out of a class than just language practice. Milena is very patient, knows a lot and doesn't mind sharing what she knows with others. Super teacher! Super class!
