It is a pleasure to meet you! I am Alexandra and I have been an English teacher for over 7 years, and I teach Spanish as well. I was born and raised in Venezuela. I moved to London after finishing my former career as an Interior Designer, I lived there for while and then I decided to move to Barcelona where I currently live.

My main focus in teaching is speaking, pronunciation and vocabulary as in my experience I’ve seen that these are the aspects that most of people struggle with, of course I also teach grammar, writing and all other aspects of the language. As a personal opinion I think that the most important aspect of learning and improving any language, are the ones that we can progressively incorporate in our daily life, only this way we will be able to create solid bases that will last over time.

My teaching methods vary in order to meet my student requirements and goals, as I believe that not everyone has the same needs and that´s why I take the time to develop an individual learning plan for each of my students.
