🌼NOZOMI🌼

One of the best things I did this year was meeting Nozomi and being able to continue studying Japanese. I still have a lot to work on and don’t review as much as I should, but Nozomi is truly the best teacher. Having a lesson once a week gives me a reason to work harder every day. It doesn’t feel like studying — it feels like talking together, sharing different topics and interests, and finding healing through our conversations. There’s a comfort that goes beyond learning, so I don’t feel any stress — only happiness. It also inspires me to study more on my own. Thank you, always. If you’re still hesitating, I highly recommend Nozomi. I look forward to learning with you again in the new year.

Nozomiさん is an amazing teacher! Conversations with her are always fun and engaging, which makes lessons fly by in an instant. I progressed from having no conversational experience, to being confident to speak in just a few lessons. She always encourages to speak more, and never makes you feel bad about trying more complex grammatical constructions, even if you make a lot of mistakes. Each lesson, I feel like I have learnt to utilize some grammar points better, some vocabulary, and often something new about Japanese culture / life in Japan. I can't recommend her enough and am looking forward to the next lessons!

Today officially marks the end of our Genki lessons and the beginning of the intermediate ones. I have been taking Nozomi-sensei's classes for around one year and have nothing but positive things to say! Her classes are very structured and well-paced. She makes fun and easy-to-follow slides. She is also a great listener! There are things in our discussions from many months ago that would frequently pop up many months later, thereby, making conversations flow very naturally.
