Learning Japanese with Nozoi sensei has been an absolute joy! Their passion for the language and culture is truly inspiring, and they create such a warm and encouraging learning environment. They explain concepts clearly, make lessons engaging, and are always patient and supportive. Thanks to her guidance, I’ve gained so much confidence in my Japanese skills. I’m incredibly grateful to have such a dedicated and wonderful teacher!

Nozomiさん is an amazing teacher! Conversations with her are always fun and engaging, which makes lessons fly by in an instant. I progressed from having no conversational experience, to being confident to speak in just a few lessons. She always encourages to speak more, and never makes you feel bad about trying more complex grammatical constructions, even if you make a lot of mistakes. Each lesson, I feel like I have learnt to utilize some grammar points better, some vocabulary, and often something new about Japanese culture / life in Japan. I can't recommend her enough and am looking forward to the next lessons!

I'm so sad this is my last class for a while, but I've truly enjoyed the 20 courses (=20 weeks!) I've learned Japanese with Nozomi先生. While the lessons are structured around a textbook, the class structure was made in a way where you can express and free-talk what you have learned, making the material more memorable. Nozomi Sensei is absolutely the best Japanese teacher you could find on Italki or anywhere on this planet! I have been studying Japanese with Nozomi Sensei since 2022. I passed my JLPT N5 certificate in December 2023. Her classes helped me to build strong foundations. What I love most about learning Japanese from Nozomi Sensei is that she is so fun and professional. A great class format is one thing, but learning Japanese from a respectable teacher is also equally important because Nozomi Sensei knows how to motivate her students. I have met several different Japanese teachers from one of the most expensive professionals to casual tutors. I hope my review saves your time searching for the right teacher. I can guarantee you that Nozomi Sensei is the best teacher on Italki. I want her to stay on Italki for a long time so I don’t lose such an amazing teacher!!

선생님은 다시 일본어에 흥미를 갖고 즐겁게 배울 수 있게 되었습니다. 틀린 문장이 있어도 민망하지 않게 일본어로 다시 설명해주시고, 그날 배운 단어도 적어서 매번 업로드 해주시기 때문에 복습하는 것도 무척 좋습니다. 진도에 맞게 하는 수업도 재미있고 그날 배운 문장으로 여러 이야기를 나눌 수 있어 수업이 매번 즐겁습니다. 매일 조금 더 나아지는 저를 만나는 것 같아 선생님께 고맙습니다! 이 수업 무조건 추천입니다 :) Thanks to the teacher, I’ve regained interest in learning Japanese and am enjoying it again. Even when I make mistakes, the teacher kindly explains things again in Japanese, so I don’t feel embarrassed. The teacher also uploads the vocabulary we learned each time, which makes reviewing really helpful. The lessons follow a good pace and are fun, and I enjoy being able to have conversations using the sentences we learned that day. Each class is enjoyable, and I feel like I’m improving little by little every day. I'm really grateful to the teacher! I definitely recommend this class :)
