Wako

The best teacher ever!

Wake is a great teacher. Her Japanese is easy to understand and she is very patient with me. I am 60 years old so learning Japanese for the first time isn’t easy for me but Wako makes the process pleasant without any stress. I highly recommend her as a teacher.

Wako sensei is very easy to talk to; if you are shy or anxious, she is a good teacher to have as her lessons are fun and very engaging, so there is no time to think about feeling shy or being nervous just about learning Japanese and sharing some laughter. So, I really appreciate that. 

I’ve had many lessons with Wako, and every time has been so helpful. She helps me practice for interviews and kindly corrects my pronunciation, grammar, and expressions. I used to struggle on my own, but her support and encouragement make me feel confident. Of the several teachers I’ve tried on italki, Wako sensei stands out. I’m currently looking for a job in Japan, and speed is essential during job hunting. Wako sensei has always responded promptly. Regarding the lessons themselves, whenever I ask for advice on my writing, she guides me toward better phrasing and sentence structure. Her feedback has been very helpful. Highly recommend her classes!
