講師としての私
私は生徒にとって何が一番効果的であるかに集中しています。 ゆっくり話すべきか、早く話すべきか、題材を簡単なものにすべきか、難しいものにすべきか。 重要なのは、生徒が授業から何を求めているかということです。それを心がけています。私は自分が教師になるとは思っていませんでした。18歳のときから家庭教師を始め、その後、教える機会が次々と訪れました。私は教えることが好きなんだと気づきました。 大学で教員免許を取るという普通のルートは踏まなかったので、いざ教え始めると、自分が最高の教師であること、生徒の心に届くような教師になることを自分に課した。 それが私の仕事です。 レッスン形式・教え方
私の授業はプライベートなので、生徒一人ひとりに合わせて授業をカスタマイズし、ニーズを把握するように心がけています。通常、生徒はすぐに理解できると思っているので、これを行うには実際には数回の授業が必要であり、難しいことなのです。私は、生徒が私や他の先生、教材に依存することなく、流暢に話せるようになること、よりよい言語学習者になるためのスキルを身につけられるよう、一人ひとりの言語目標を達成できるようサポートするよう心がけています。私の主な目標は、生徒がクラスで80％の割合で話すことです。教材

Mark is patient and listens to me struggle with appropriate clarification of pronunciation or proper grammar that encourages me and eases my path. He uses graphics and reading materials to expand my vocabulary and knowledge of how natives use the language. He is the perfect teaches for me.

This is a great class my 8 yr old loves it and is learning so much. He gets frustrated with himself for not knowing but Mark helps him through it and encourages him to keep going they play games to help him learn and remember what they have gone over.
