In today's lesson I prepared a short story on how when I was a young kid I fell asleep on the boat while traveling alone for the first time, ending up in the wrong city. Chieko helped me correct it, and also provided input on more appropriate words to use. We also worked a bit with new patterns in the textbook. I enjoy our conversations and I learn a lot from them!

My lesson was fun as always and I've been feeling a little better about my listening comprehension lately. I still struggle when watching TV, news, as expected, but conversationally/face-to-face I feel more positive. :) We talked about work, and my upcoming shamisen lesson (which was amazing and can't wait to talk about next time)!

Chieko-san is a great teacher! Studying Japanese is always fun and interesting with her :)

It was a very good initial session. Chieko Osugi made me feel very at ease during our trial lesson. She immediately gave me pointers on how to practice my Japanese.
