Atsuko Sensei is awesome! She's very patient with me while I try to form sentences and her lessons have given me a solid foundation to begin speaking and expressing myself quickly. Our lessons are fun and engaging, often opening with conversation where I am able to practice both speaking and listening. I find I learn as much during our conversations as I do during the grammar and vocabulary practice. Every 3 months, she will leave an incredibly thoughtful review of our progress which is both encouraging and helpful to see where I need to study more. I highly recommend Atsuko to any beginner learners.

I've been taking lessons with atsuko san for about 2 months now and I'm having a lot of fun! lessons mostly include practicing book material, vocabulary, conversation, or playing games. It seems like she pays close attention to her student's habits and the things they like in order to tailor the lessons to their tastes! Atsuko san also is as patient as a saint! She keeps smiling no matter how many mistakes I make during lessons or how many times I forget something. I am definitely making progress in studying Japanese. I wholeheartedly recommend Atsuko san new jp language learners.

Did a trial lesson for beginner Japanese with Atsuko-San. She was very kind, encouraging, and patient during the lesson. Her lesson materials included relevant phrases, characters, and names. The materials felt relatable and simple to follow. I encourage any others to give her lessons a try!
