I could explain a lot of things about my life and ask her about her life. This was a great way to find stuff that I don't know how to say yet and to get support from the teacher. Her accent is fairly neutral and she was easy to understand. She was able to speak English but maximized the use of the target language, Vietnamese, which I really appreciate.

Phuong is kind, patient, personable, and interesting. If you are serious about learning or improving your Vietnamese language and cultural knowledge, I highly recommend taking courses with this teacher.
