私は日本語教師として37年の経験があります。完全な初心者から上級者まで指導可能ですが、授業は英語で行いますので、ある程度の英語力をお持ちの方が望ましいです。レッスンの内容と方法は以下の通りです：
Ⅰ. 総合日本語
ご希望の教科書（『Genki』、『みんなの日本語』、『Japanese for Busy People』、『新標準日本語』など）を使用します。
0. レッスン前に、Teams（←Skype）を通じて資料をお送りします。
1. 最初の数回のレッスンでは、Teamsやitalki Classroomなどを通じてお送りする資料を使い、基本的な日本語の発音や、授業で役立つフレーズや単語を指導します。
2. 通常の授業
[授業前］ 基本的には、自分で教科書を勉強（読む）する必要があります。Teamsなどで私が送る資料にある文や単語の発音を練習してください。
正しいアクセントで発音するように注意してください。教科書のCDやウェブ上の音声ファイルを利用しても構いません。
［授業中］
(1) 文章や単語を声に出して読みます。→ 理解度と発音を確認し、
間違いを訂正します。→ 正しく（繰り返し）読み直します。→ 私が英語で文章を読み上げます。
→ それらを、アクセントを含めた正しい発音で日本語に訳します。
(2) テキストの質問に答えてください。→ 私が答え（および発音）を確認し、
間違いを直します。※質問（文法、意味、発音など）があれば、
いつでも聞いてください。また、時間があれば、
日本語で自由な会話もできます。
次回のレッスンについては、italkiのサイト上で私に尋ねてください。

Japanese Specialist is the only teacher I know who teaches the rules of Japanese accent in systematic way. Other Japanese teachers will correct your pronunciation only if you get it so horribly wrong as to be incomprehensible. Japanese Specialist is different. He teaches you how to vary the pitch within Japanese words and phrases to achieve natural, native-like intonation.
If you have a musical ear or have studied a tonal language like Mandarin Chinese as a second language, you will easily understand the principles of Japanese intonation once they are explained to you. Otherwise, you may find this method of study extremely challenging. I highly recommend this teacher for students with a good ear for language and a serious interest in achieving a good accent.
