Cherry

Fun lesson. Cherry knows how to feel my linguistics needs and cater for them regardless of the contents of the book. This makes for very intellectually stimulating exchanges which clearly boost my motivation.

Today, we focused mainly on reading comprehension, which is exactly what I need most. I could tell Cherry put a lot of thought into slowing the pace of our lessons down, and incorporating reading practice into lessons, in order to ensure my reading stays up to par with other skills (speaking, listening, etc.). Great lesson!

I came in with nothing and got some nice input and support from Cherry. :)

Used an easily available Burmese instructional manual, which was helpful. Good judgement about when to introduce new concepts to a beginner. Speaks English well. Very good first session.

Cherry brings a wealth of learning material to each lesson, complete with vocabulary, grammar, speaking exercises, and pointers on the written language. What I most appreciate about each lesson is how Cherry customizes the difficulty according to my abilities, always pushing me a little bit beyond my current level and helping me consolidate what I already know. Highly recommend!

Cherry has been great! She has a set of custom-developed Burmese phrases and grammar points broken up into manageable lessons, which are easy for beginners to grasp. Homework is marked and returned outside of class time.
