Hello, my name is Melanie. I live in Luxembourg and speak french, Luxembourgish, German and English. I have given thousands of luxembourgish lessons on and off internet platforms over the past 5 years. I am looking forward to studying with you.

I am cheerful and very motivated to hear about your interest so as to be able to adjust a class around your field of interest. My ambition is to be able to spread Luxembourgish language and culture through various channels. One of these is to give lessons.

In my opinion, the primary goal of a language is communication. This is why the first step in my classes is to be able to communicate in everyday situations before proceeding to the written part. I also believe that learning should be fun and this is why I always make an effort to create lessons adapted to your field of interest.

Le professeur utilise des situations réelle de la vie courante pour dialoguer. Le professeur me motive en m’encourageant et en soulignant mes progrès. Le professeur utilise un support écrit partagé, afin de laisser une trace des apprentissages et des leçons. Le professeur utilise aussi tous les styles d’apprentissage que je n’ai pas pu choisir plus haut : « Présente, Explique, Guide, Collabore, Facilite les choses, … »

A very enjoyable and interesting first lesson with Sena. We covered quite a lot of vocabulary and Sena managed to have me speaking comfortably even though I made lots of small mistakes. She is very encouraging.
