A perfect teacher for my needs. Every second during the lesson I am really taught.

Iyo-sensei is a wonderful and patient teacher! We always have such engaging conversations which really challenges me to use a wide variety of words and grammar. She encourages whenever I have to stop and think before speaking. I truly look forward to speaking with her every week because I know I’m going to walk away from our lesson more confident in my Japanese.

Iyo-sensei is so much fun to talk to. She is energetic, kind, and patient. Talking with her gives me the much needed speaking and listening practice I don’t usually get when I’m self studying. She guides me very well when I’m trying to think of words and is a great teacher. I can’t wait for more lessons with her.

I have had a class with Iyo almost every week since January this year and I have enjoyed every one! Her lessons are fun and vibrant while still being very informative. I am looking forward to learning more and more Japanese :)
