イギリス育ちですが、ずっと旅をしてきました。現在はイギリスを拠点に活動していますが、ドイツにも5年間住んでいたことがあり、4ヶ国語を話すことができます。英語、ソマリア語、ドイツ語、ポルトガル語です。 言語を学ぶのが大好きで、母国語が私とは異なる友人がたくさんいますが、彼らの母国語で話し、まったく異なる方法で友人を知るこの瞬間がたまらなく好きです。ネルソン・マンデラが言ったように、「その人が理解できる言語で話しかければ、それはその人の頭に入る。彼の母国語で話せば、それは彼の心に届く。"
