If you're nervous about learning with a teacher, try Minjae! She is great at slowing down and adapting the lesson to your current level, so you can relax and practice comfortably. We've had 7 lessons so far and every one has felt purpose-driven and productive (and fun!).

Minjae is an awesome tutor, she is super prepared and very knowledgeable about language learning. She also has a background in multiple languages, which is really helpful for using a variety of examples to help with understanding (at this point in my Korean learning journey, with pronunciation in particular.) Thanks for another great lesson! I appreciate all of your hard work and patience!

Minjae was super, super prepared and really sweet! Even though it was a trial lesson, she managed to squeeze in a lot of content, like introductions/get to know you, goals, explaining how she structures her class, and starting to explain Korean already. Minjae is such a wonderful teacher, and a lovely, delightful person!! I did a few weeks before a trip to Korea, and WOW, am I prepped!! Soooo many situations, and they were easy to switch out with all the vocab, and you get it all sent to you!! I did have experience with the language before, but ooooh my, there was so much I needed to know and thought I knew but I didn't!! But you never feel dumb because she's such a kind and patient teacher!! I was inspired after every lesson, I'm going to say all these, use these words instead, YESSssssss!!! 저는 한국어를 할 수 있어요 (조금)!!!

I'm really happy that I started taking Korean lessons with Minjae! She is super friendly and very organized in her lessons. She is casual enough that I don't feel that I have to be super serious in class, but always keeps me focused (a difficult task, honestly). I am looking forward to future lessons!!

Minjae is very professional, she is prepared and is always ready to teach. She makes learning fun & 1 hour lessons just fly by. As someone who is somewhere between beginner and intermediate level I would strongly recommend her as a teacher.
