I've been working with Joao since I joined Italki (July 2025); so it's been about 5 months now since I've first taken his class- I'm no where near perfect but I've come a long way with my conversation skills in Portugues and a large part of that is owed to Joao. This guy has the charisma and patience to make any beginner student feel like an intermediate student and any intermediate student feel like an advanced student.
I can't wait to see what some of our conversations are like in 2026 as we both continue to get better in our respective areas!!
