Hello! My name is Chika.
I’ve been interested in other countries and cultures since I was in junior high school. I’ve studied both Chinese and English, and I studied abroad in China and Canada during my school years. I’ve also traveled to many countries.
For some time, I paused language education to focus on raising my children. Now that they’re older, I’m really enjoying teaching Japanese to people around the world.
People often say I’m friendly and sociable. With over 10 years of parenting experience, I’ve learned to be patient and explain things clearly to anyone.

I’ve been teaching a variety of learners as an online Japanese tutor for the past six months.
Although this is a new career for me, I take great pride in my work and approach each lesson with passion.
As someone who has always loved studying languages, I value communication and enjoy using both English and Chinese to support my students. I’m flexible in adapting to each learner’s level and learning style, providing personalized lessons that suit their needs.

In my lessons, we use the textbook ”Minna no Nihongo” to build up grammar step by step and develop a strong foundation in Japanese.
To make everything easier to understand and help you practice new vocabulary, I create original slides and worksheets tailored to each lesson.
I also put a strong focus on review and conversation, so you can improve not only your understanding but also your speaking skills.教材
