I have experience as a Spanish tutor for more than 1 year, with more than 700 hours of online teaching.
I have helped students from different places such as Ireland, London, Australia, USA, Poland and Brazil to reach their language goals.
My teaching methodology focuses on introducing the language in a natural way with engaging and interesting materials for students, such as videos, games, readings, music and casual conversations.

Maura has a wide range of skills for teaching Spanish but I feel the most important is an engaging personality. She asks fun questions that force me to stretch my Spanish. An hour passes quickly but it is exhausting. Perfect. At the end of each conversation Maura reviews a few errors in grammar, pronunciation and word choices I had been making that she noted carefully but tactfully did not allow to interrupt our conversation. It's a nice balance. After every session I receive a new reading assignment as a start to our next conversation. We're making progress!
