Rita is a fantastic teacher and a lot of fun. She has a great understanding of which Sicilian vocabulary best fits a particular linguistic register or situation. We speak mostly in Italian while she is teaching me Sicilian, at my level, but her English is also great for the times when we get stuck. Rita keeps a good balance of structure while maintaining conversation, and keeping the lesson interesting with jokes and stories. I'm excited to continue learning Sicilian with her.
