With a diverse international background, I have lived in the UK, Botswana, Tokyo, and Osaka, gaining extensive multicultural experience. Also traveld to 18 countries. Professionally, I work as a freelance web graphic designer. My personal interests include handcrafting, particularly crochet, and art. I am an avid enthusiast of Japanese subculture, engaging with manga on a daily basis. I look forward to facilitating engaging Japanese language conversations centered around these shared interests. こんにちは！私はもとえです。大阪出身で、今トルコに住んでいます。イギリス、ボツワナ、東京、大阪に住んでいました。趣味はハンドメイドです。漫画をよく読んでいます。アニメの話題もできます。他にWebグラフィックデザイナーもしています。 I have been working as a Japanese teacher on italki for over one and half year and have conducted more than 1,700 lessons. I offer conversation-focused courses as well as structured beginner courses using textbooks. I strive to provide clear and systematic explanations, respond carefully and accurately to all student questions, and give practical, personalized feedback by identifying each learner’s strengths and areas for improvement. 日本語講師として1年半以上活動し、1,700回以上のレッスンを担当。会話力向上コースに加え、初心者向けに教科書を使用した基礎コースも提供。分かりやすい説明を心がけ、生徒からの質問に丁寧に対応しています。また、それぞれの学習状況を把握し、課題や改善点をアドバイスをします。 Basically we will have a conversation in Japanese and English. Also I can explain in Turkish. If you have special theme, let me know before the class. 基本的に会話コースは、日本語か英語で会話する形式です。トルコ語で説明もできます。話したいテーマがあれば、事前にメッセージで教えてください。

I am leaving for Japan in two days, so today's lesson was incredibly useful. We focused on shopping at flea markets and learned the Japanese names for many of the items I plan to buy during my trip. My teacher always does a great job tailoring lessons to my specific needs and travel goals. The explanations were clear, practical, and easy to remember. I feel much more confident about communicating while shopping in Japan. Thank you for another excellent lesson!
