Today is Sunday, and I've been on overtime all afternoon. During my Japanese lesson, I explained to the teacher why I still have to work on the weekend. Usually, besides completing my own work, I also need to keep an eye on the tasks of a colleague in my group because she has received multiple negative feedbacks from the client. Today, I tried to describe the whole issue in my own words as much as possible.

Today, the teacher helped me with two questions, especially regarding the usage of "ついている" in Japanese. Through various examples, I finally understood in which situations it is used. This is something that's quite difficult to grasp just from textbooks. I'm glad to have learned something new again today—every day brings a little progress, and that makes me really happy. Today, a close friend of 20 years suddenly came to my city on a business trip, and we arranged to meet in the evening. During the lesson, I tried my best to describe the whole process in my own way.
