Fardowsa is a wonderful teacher! I've only done one session with her so far, but she is very prepared, very knowledgeable, and I learned a lot just from the first session. Highly recommend!

I wanted a one-time 1-hour lesson just to learn a couple phrases so I could try to order a meal at the Somali restaurants that I will be visiting next week. I started at zero, knowing no Somali at all, but I came away feeling like I can go in and greet the owners and read a little of the menu! Fardosa’s explanations are very clear and organized, and she is lovely and warm. I really enjoyed the lesson; I just needed this little crash course, but Fardosa is such a good teacher, it makes me want to learn more.
