Hi! I'm Satsuki. I was born in Hokkaido and now live in Tokyo with my rescue dog Kanta — a toy poodle who’s full of energy and personality.
In addition to teaching, I’m passionate about martial arts, yoga, Pilates, guitar, and kimono culture. I also love developing better ways to teach Japanese — it’s my lifelong craft.
I’ve lived in both Thailand and the US, and I absolutely love traveling!
Some of my favorite places include Bali, Koh Samui, Chiang Mai, Okinawa, Hawaii, and Munich.

For beginners, we first confirm whether you want to learn reading and writing; if not, we can study in romaji. Please make lots of mistakes—progress is at your pace.
Intermediate/advanced learners, travelers, hobbyists, professionals, and anyone with a Japan-related background are all welcome. I’ll support you closely and keep you moving forward.
