Ryota

Ryotaさん is really good at maintaining a speaking pace that I can understand and helps to build my confidence in my Japanese. He's also very thorough when explaining any grammar nuances that I missed or need help with. I also noticed that he always pauses a little bit after speaking so that I can respond. Finally, like the last lesson, our conversation naturally involved a whole bunch of topics that came about naturally and organically. He's got some awesome conversation skills.

Had a great first lesson with Ryotaさん. He's got a great personality, is patient and kind. I accidentally cut him off a few times while speaking and he was very kind and understanding. He also let me speak about and ask all kinds of questions. I also appreciated that he really took the time to assess my level and to provide feedback and thoughts on how to progress in the future. I'm really grateful for the time, thought and effort he put into this first lesson!

Ryota is an excellent teacher. He has a very easygoing manner and clear way of speaking. He will allow the conversation to flow freely but when necessary he is adept at explaining vocabulary and grammar to help facilitate the conversation. If you want to talk about something specific or do a bit of role play I have no doubt he would be able to help you. You can’t go wrong choosing Ryota as your teacher.
