I learned how to say teachers day in Chinese and I learned that teachers Day in Taiwan is the birthday of Confucius. I love getting to know Taiwan’s culture with Patty. She’s very patient and has a passion for teaching. And what she prepares for the class is amazing. 🫰🏻

Patty is a great teacher! She’s very prepared, encouraging, and makes learning Mandarin feel much more approachable.

This was our second class together, and I’m really enjoying learning from the textbook with Patty. Patty explains everything clearly and makes the material feel much easier and less intimidating than I originally thought.

I've really enjoyed learning Chinese with Patty. She is calm and patient, which creates a relaxed learning environment where I feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. At the same time, she is always well prepared and brings useful learning materials to each lesson. Her structured yet flexible approach really helps me stay motivated, and I can feel that I’m making meaningful progress every week. I highly recommend her to anyone serious about improving their Chinese!

Patty is phenomenal. Her lesson lessons are the perfect balance of free conversation, practice and structured vocabulary. I am a Mandarin speaker learning Taiwanese Hokkien, and she is able to identify key similarities, and differences between the two languages. She also has materials prepared which she sends before and after classes. I would highly recommend Patty.

Patty is a wonderful teacher. She’s been so patient while working with me to learn Taiwanese Hokkien, using visual aids and modified speech to encourage me to build my vocabulary. Would recommend!
