Shuhua is always well-prepared for class with level-appropriate materials. She is also easily able to explain both grammar and vocabulary in simple Chinese and is doing a good job of getting a reluctant speaker to actually use Chinese. Hi fellow Chinese learners, I’m writing this review to recommend Ms. Shuhua as a test preparation tutor. I've been preparing for my HSKK Basic exam with her and feel confident about taking it soon. We focused on preparing for the third section of the exam. She is thorough, covering questions that commonly come up for this section. She has a clear way of structuring the answers to make sure all relevant information is outlined in a logical and concise way while aiming to maximize the number of earned points for that question. If you’re looking for a thorough and friendly tutor, Ms. Shuhua is the teacher for you. For reference, I had 3 weeks till the exam and took 2 lessons weekly (60 mins each). This time period covered most of the practice needed for the third section of the exam. If you need to practice all sections, you'll likely need at least 10 lessons of preparation. Discuss your study plan with Ms. Shuhua beforehand like I did to get the most out of her lessons. Best wishes!
