Start using Japanese in real conversation 🪄 | 14+ yrs exp | English support 🗾【日本語】みなさん、こんにちは！日本語を教えて14年になる、日本語ネイティブのチューターです💁‍♀️ 東京生まれ・東京育ちで、仙台や名古屋にも住んでいたことがあります。今はアメリカ西海岸在住です。好きなことは、動物、写真、健康、食べること、ソーイング、YouTubeやNetflix、ゲーム、電動キックボードです。アメリカのコミュニティカレッジで8年間チューターをし、日本語クラスのアシスタントや、日本語カンバセーショングループのリーダーも担当しました。コロナ以降はプライベートで日本語を教え、20代〜70代までの生徒さんをサポートしてきました。アメリカで日本語クラスを手伝ったことがきっかけで、日本語チューターになりました。一生懸命学ぶ生徒さんを見て、自分の得意なことでサポートしたいと思いました。レッスンでは、一人ひとりに合った「レベル＋1」の内容を大切にしています。モットーは「楽しく・実践的に！」間違いOK！たくさん話して自然な日本語を身につけましょう😊 🌐【English】 Konnichiwa, everyone! I’m a native Japanese tutor with 14 years of teaching experience! 💁‍♀️ I was born and raised in Tokyo, and I’ve also lived in Sendai and Nagoya. Now I live on the West Coast of the U.S. I like animals, photography, health, food, sewing, YouTube, Netflix, video games, and riding e-scooters. I tutored at a community college in the U.S. for 8 years. I also assisted in a Japanese class and led a conversation group. Since the pandemic, I’ve taught Japanese privately to learners in their 20s to 70s. Helping Japanese classes in the U.S. led me to become a tutor. Seeing students work hard inspired me to support them using my strengths. Many of my students continue with me for months or years. I create relaxed, supportive lessons that are easy to continue. In my lessons, I focus on “level + 1” content that fits each student. Not too easy, not too hard — just the right challenge. My motto is fun and practical! Mistakes are welcome. Let’s talk a lot and learn natural Japanese! 😊

Her class is truly a hidden gem! I was very nervous before the lesson, but she asked many easy-to-answer questions and gave me plenty of chances to speak.
