My passions are travelling and learning languages. That is why I enjoy teaching people from different countries and like to share with them knowledge about my country. I'm a native Russian speaker and an English teacher. I have a Bachelor degree in education and an international teaching certificate TEFL. Teaching is not only about using good materials and effective techniques - but of course it's a huge part of teaching process. Teaching is something more for me. A good teacher is a person who supports you, and helps you reach your goals. I have taught students online from different counties for several years, and I really enjoy doing that. During our lessons we are going to develop the following language skills: reading, listening, speaking, and writing. If you want to do something in particular - let me know!
I like to use videomaterials as a means of developing listening skills. It has many advantages and helps your better understand the context.
I use studying games as well. Especially I like the one I'm talking about in the video. It prompts you to speak and develops listening skills.
And don't forget, we study a language because we want to speak it (not only read and listen)! :-) See you!

I used to learn Russian by heart, as if it were math, but once I started having lessons with Anastasia I feel like I am really learning this language and I fell in love with it! She makes grammar so simple, we speak and read together, and our lessons are fun and pleasant. She is an amazing teacher!

Anastaiya is one of the best teachers I've had the pleasure to interact with on italki. I almost always lose track of time with her and find the lessons to be very immersive and interesting. She has a very good command over English which makes communication a lot easier.

Anastasiya is a great teacher - I would recommend her to anyone wanting to start learning Russian. Russian used to seem like an impossible language to study and now it does not seem impossible. Complex, but not impossible. I've made good progress in the 3 months I've been studying with Anastasiya. Спасибо!
