Out of ALL the teachers I’ve tried on Italki, he stands out as THE absolute best. Not only does he teach authentic everyday spoken Thai but he also shares truly invaluable cultural insights that make the learning experience so much richer. His dedication goes faaaaaar beyond just filling the lesson time. He ensures EVERY concept is fully understood and mastered with patience and thoroughness that truly set him apart. A rare gem for anyone serious about learning Thai!

My Thai is getting better after every lesson with Tien. He explains things very clear and encourages me to speak and has alot of learning material for my level and interests. If you want to learn how to pronounce words and read words correctly then I highly recommend Tien as a teacher! Every lesson is fun and also highly educative. Plus he knows some German (er erklärt ab und zu ein Wort auf Deutsch anstatt auf Englisch.) which helps me to understand things better. He is one of the best Thai teacher!!
