Yilkal is an amazing Amharic teacher who adapts to my learning style and makes every class calm and enjoyable. Yilkal goes above and beyond by providing recordings, clear explanations, and expert pronunciation coaching, all of which have significantly boosted my confidence. I’m finally practising on my own and reading Romanization with ease or better anyway. Favorite class phrases: ዝግጁ ነህ? / ዝግጁ ነሽ? (Are you ready?) እባክህ ድገምልኝ / እባክሽ ድገሚልኝ (Please repeat it for me) Proverb: “ያለ ትዕግሥት የለም ትምህርት።” Without patience, there is no learning.
