I've tried tons of spanish teachers in the past and Juan Jose has helped me more in the past 7 months of working with him than years of school and studying! He is fun to talk to, always corrects your pronunciation in a kind way so you can actually learn, and makes very personalized lesson plans. Simplemente, Juan Jose es lo mejor profe en todo el mundo!!!

You know, it took me quite a while to get up the nerve to sign onto Italki for a Spanish teacher – even though I wanted very much to get better at the language. I was trying a lot of things on my own, but I was afraid to let somebody else see how ragged my skills were. But when a friend told me about her recent lesson with Juan José, and emphasized his patience and warmth, I decided to give him a try. Before the first lesson was over, I felt certain that I wanted to continue.It’s now been several years, and we're still talking once or twice a week. I feel way more confident about my conversational skills now. He's the real deal --check him out!
