Hello! My name is Sophie, and I’m a native French speaker with a passion for language, storytelling, and connection. I lived in Australia for over six years, where I had the joy of teaching both French and English to students of all ages and levels.
In addition to teaching, I’ve worked extensively in film and television production, which has given me a deep appreciation for creativity and communication. Sophie is the ideal teacher for intermediate learners like me. I love our conversation lessons. She is intelligent, well-educated, engaging, encouraging, and, above all, interesting. She can hold a conversation on any topic. She lets me speak, only correcting me in a way that does not feel intrusive. She's quite a find.

A very enjoyable and productive first session with Sophie!
Spent the first few minutes discussing my goals for learning French and a plan to achieve them, then did a conversation practice. She was very patient, listened attentively, and corrected my grammar & pronunciation when needed - As a French learner of barely-basic conversational level, this was very encouraging for me. 100% recommend!
